Niantic and Capcom have unveiled Monster Hunter Now, a mobile AR game inspired by the popular franchise with parallels to Pokemon GO. The closed beta registration starts on April 18, with the game slated for a September 2023 release on App Store and Google Play.

Described as a blend of action and communication, Monster Hunter Now aims to simplify the classic Monster Hunter combat for mobile gaming while retaining its essence. During battles, players will engage with iconic monsters like Rathalos and the Great Jagras for up to 75 seconds.

A unique feature in Monster Hunter Now is the ability to use Paintballs to transport monsters to the players' homes for combat. Accompanied by a companion Palico, players can participate in battles alone or team up with friends in either vertical or landscape mode.

In conclusion, as Monster Hunter Now prepares for its closed beta and eventual release, fans can look forward to an immersive AR experience, including gathering materials, crafting equipment, and character customization. Post-launch support and new content will ensure that the game remains engaging and enjoyable for players.
