Benedict Cumberbatch has seemingly confirmed that Doctor Strange will be in the next Avengers movie and that filming will begin next year.

The actor reflects on his most iconic roles in a new interview with Netflix. He mentions that the joy of playing the character is immense, and it allows him to help promote less commercial stories and writing. Cumberbatch reveals that he almost had to give up the role initially due to scheduling conflicts. He also expressed his excitement for Avengers next year, stating that it is generating much interest and anticipation.
