Exploring the world of Elden Ring reveals many intriguing characters and questlines. One notable quest involves Lightseeker Hyetta, an NPC first encountered on the southern cliffs of Liurnia of the Lakes. Her questline is intricately linked to one of the game’s endings and involves the collection of Shabriri Grapes. The reward for persisting through her tasks is the Frenzied Flame Seal, used for casting incantations. Here’s a step-by-step guide to completing Hyetta's questline.

Before progressing with Hyetta's quest, finding the Shabriri Grapes scattered throughout the game is crucial. These items are essential for moving forward and can be found in various locations as you adventure.

Initially, you will meet Hyetta near the Site of Grace called “Lake-Facing Cliffs” in South Liurnia, close to where you find the first grape. Upon speaking with her, the blind lady requests a Shabriri Grape, rewarding you with the gesture: As You Wish. Nothing else occurs during this encounter, leaving you to continue with the next step in her quest.

Your second encounter with Hyetta takes place in the Purified Ruins in East Liurnia, where you locate the second grape. She stands to the west of the ruins, facing towards the Laskyar Ruins. Here, you must provide her with another grape, but no reward is given this time. This leads you to the next segment of the quest.

Meeting Hyetta for the third time occurs at the Site of Grace called “Gate Town Bridge” in eastern Liurnia. The location is north of the Purified Ruins and south of the Revenger's Shack. On this occasion, she requests another grape and wants to know what these grapes are. To advance the quest, you must reveal that the grapes are human eyeballs. After resting once at the Site of Grace, Hyetta shares new insights and claims she will become a Finger Maiden.

To aid Hyetta in her goal, the next step is to find the Fingerprint Grape. You’ll encounter her at Bellum Church in North Liurnia. The Fingerprint Grape is obtained by defeating the invading NPC Festering Fingerprint Vyke near the Church of Inhibition. Deliver the grape to Hyetta, receiving her gratitude though no immediate reward, and proceed to complete the final steps.

Your final meeting with Hyetta occurs beneath the Cathedral of the Forsaken, near the Site of Grace labeled “Frenzied Flame Prescription.” This cathedral lies below the Subterranean Shunning-Grounds, underneath the capital Leyndell. Speaking with Hyetta here, you follow a set of instructions leading to the reception of the Three Fingers's flame. This process involves removing all clothes, armor, and weapons, opening a specific door, and watching a cutscene (refer to a Three Fingers location guide for detailed steps). After being branded with the flame, return to Hyetta and lay a hand on her.

Completing this task sets you on the path for the Lord of Frenzied Flame ending in the game, though it locks you out of other endings unless reversed with Miquella's Needle from Millicent's quest. With a few more conversations, Hyetta provides the Frenzied Flame Seal and five Frenzyflame Stones, thus concluding her quest. Following this, you may continue with the next NPC questline involving Latenna the Albinauric.
