Among Us is a social deduction game where you play as a member of a spaceship crew and your goal is to fix its systems. But the problem is, two members of the crew are impostors who are trying to sabotage the ship. The game is played in rounds with the roles being randomly assigned. The game has an easy-to-use interface and can be picked up quickly.
In the beginning of each round, roles are randomly assigned to players. The goal of crewmates is to fix all the systems of the ship or to vote out both impostors. The goal of impostors is either to eliminate the crew members down to 2, or to sabotage one of the systems and leave it without mending long enough for the whole ship to fail. Impostors can also use vents to quickly move between locations. Everyone can use the big red button to gather the meeting and decide if players should vote someone out.
Among Us graphics are 2D and they are not very detailed, but this game doesn't need great graphics, it is fully focused on social interactions. Still, the graphics are smooth and pleasant to look at.
The game is fast-paced and is played in short sessions, each of which isn't like the others because of a social aspect. The Among Us game has great replayability.
Among Us has very good performance and is easy to learn. You use your regular WASD controls and mouse to do everything in this game. It doesn't need any other controls than these, and this is one of the reasons the game is so popular.
The game is very engaging and does not only focus on social aspects, but also on great gameplay and good performance. All of these things together make Among Us very special and one of the best games out there.
